Pack Parable (Pack Story)
Our pack began upon the rare dark night of a moonless sky within the Nektulos Forest. As her paws struck the ground in her stride during a run the sense of other to run with, a place to belong. As she stoped in her track near the cliff over looking the river below and the sea of tall pines. Her form shifted and she stood upon two legs glancing out upon the cliff face as the crisp air brushes by the her senses. This was the start of our pack. Coming from a sense of belonging and now a place for those who either mortal or Were like can join into a family. Protected by its own for its own.

1. FAQ
Q: What's the in-character (ic) idea with the Eyes of the Moon?
A: The Eyes of the Moon is a pack of both mortal and Weres working as a family unit, as a pack. A place where a no matter what type of person you are that will always belong. As a pack we protect our own.
Q: What's the out-of-character(ooc) idea with the Eyes of the Moon?
A: A guild for Weres and mortals to roleplay their hearts out with a bit of hatred for Vampires as well as just simply to have fun, group, quest, grind, and above all else Roleplay. This is a is just a game and we all play to have fun, so if you do not feel like Rping then don't. If you feel like questing, grinding, raiding....GO DO IT! We are not parents nor are we some commanding force in your life, it is a game and we aim to keep it that way. Games are fun and that is the way it will remain.
Q: When I am a part of the guild will I ever be booted for not being on all the time or RL issues that do not allow me to be on?
A: No, never. You can be gone as long as needed. Even if you can't play all the time. We know things come up, and this is a games. So don't ever worry about not being on. Once apart of the guild always apart of the guild.
Q: What involvement does Eyes of the Moon have in Norrath.
A: As many neutral guild they tend to stay among themselves or play both sides of the fence. However Eyes of the Moon has there hands, paws, and claws in to everything, in a never-ending roleplay to keep Norrath powers in balance.
Q: Does the Eyes of the Moon have way to communicate with each other? Like a communication device, amulet, shard, scale, orb, rune, anything like that?
A: Yes Eyes of the Moon use a telepathic type crystal. The crystal communicates by projecting thought of its wearer in to it and then communicates those thoughts to the pack as a whole (guild chat). Being that it projects the wearers thoughts unless they choose not to give there location or be known where they are, they do not have to be.
Q: Does my character have to only be a Were?
A: Absolutely NOT!. We have all manner of classes and races with in our ranks, good or evil. A person is not restricted to just playing a were race weather it be wolf, bear, boar, rat, tiger, etc. The pack accepts mortals as well, but they do not have choice if they were looking to be a were or stay as they are. That is completely up to the character and the person playing. The Pack will NEVER unwillingly turn a mortal, we are not vampires. The only thing we do restrict is that no vampires be within the pack, to keep the established lore and tension in Loping Plain and Norrath as a whole.
Q: How hard is it to gain or earn rank in the Eyes of the Moon?
A: There is not promotions or earning rank in the pack. You and the Alpha or Beta at the time discuss (IC wise) what your character take in the guild will be and in the end ultimately it is your choice as to where you wish to start. However we all start at the bottom and the only place to go is up but hell that is easy just go talk to the Alpha or a Beta.
Q: If I join am I just count as a member or do I have a say in things?
A: In the Eyes of the Moon everyone has a voice. Opinions, suggestions, and even ideas are very valued as long as they constructive and drama free. However in the end the guild leader get final say, but we do not discourage members to take it upon themselves to do events, hold crafting sales, recruit, etc.
2. After Joining.
Q: So, I just joined. What now?
A: Congratulations, Pup. You have made it this far, but you have one last task to preform. You are to seek you the Alpha for an audience or a Beta if the Alpha is not around.
Q: Do I get a celebration for making it?
A: The pack celebrates as a whole for the more member in the pack the stronger the pack is.
Q: Now that I have selected my place in the pack and have spoken with the Alpha or Beta?
A: You are now part of the pack, a member of a fully functional pack. As you grow strong the pack grows as well. Only thing that elders ask is mind the Oath, mind the rules, and follow the Alpha's leads and lastly call for help when you need it. Other then that Norrath is yours to roam.
Q: What am I in my current ranks?
A: Please read the Pack Ranks for details.
Q: If say the Alpha or a Beta issues an order and my character does not think it is right, what can I do?
A: We are glad you asked. You can challenge for dominance against the order, but only if you are a Beta or a Pack Hunter. Now if say you are a Pack mate or Omega then a suggest is to talk with a pack hunter or Beta about your point of view. In is not uncommon for other pack members to ask for a council.
Q: What is the Challenge for Dominance I just read about?
A: The Challenge for Dominance is a way for a pack member perhaps to move themselves up, gain more status/respect with other pack members, challenge orders give by the Alpha or Beta, or even just to keep there skills shape. You can read more in Garden board about rules that co-inside with a Challenge for Dominance.
Q: Do I get reward for winning a Challenge for Dominance?
A: Well that depends on the what your character is challenging for. Now keep in mind what your character is challenging for should be reasonable. What we mean is do not have them challenge someone to have them be there slave, keeping your characters house, or have them pay you plat. Serious this is a fun guild thing that is to be kept in reasonable terms. Really just keep in mind that like dogs fighting other dog, it is not always for status or respect.
Q: Is there an area of Norrath that the pack is the most safe in?
A: Yes. The Alpha has marked out most of Nektulos forest and part of Commonlands as the Eyes of the Moon territory. The Beta Superior has also allowed pack members access to Bear Valley in Nektulos Forest.
